Mi nombre

Por qu? Eso fue lo que les pregunt a mis padres cuando tena 11 aos y estaba en sexto grado. Recuerdo claramente ese da que les pregunt de dnde surgi mi nombre. Recuerdo que le pregunt a algunas de mis amigas si sus padres les haban contado alguna vez de dnde sacaron sus nombres y varias de ellas tenan la respuesta, pero yo no saba el por qu. Mi madre me dijo que quera darme un nombre que estuviera en la Biblia. Busc y Busc pero no encontr el apropiado. Luego se le ocurri buscar en un libro repleto nombres aquel que pudiera representar a aquella nia que estaba a punto de nacer. No tan solo un nombre bonito sino que tuviera un significado agradable. Al buscar se encontr con el nombre que pens que

era perfecto. Este nombre es de origen griego y significa defensora de la humanidad, del hombre o la que vela por lo suyo. Derivado de Alexander o Alejandro. Segn lo que mi madre ley el nombre se debe a que

According to what my mother read, the name is due to a precious stone similar to the pink diamond and put Alexandra due to King Alexander.
