11 years of experience on Design of Pipeline & Piping systems for oil & gas and
Petrochemical industries on shore & off shore with the following fields of experiences:

I- Piping Design Experience

Complete design of piping general arrangement layouts, Piping isometrics, Supports


Details, Materials take off, Equipments location plans, plot plans, orientation drawings,
Tie-in Index & tie in packages.

Provide piping input to Process Piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), Line
designation table (LDT), Instrument specification sheets (ISS),

Preparing material take-off requirements and isometric drawings for construction using 3D
CADD (Computer Aided Design and Drafting) modeling software e.g. Intergraph’s PDS
(Plant Design System).

Preparing& checking of equipments orientation drawings for all types of petrochemical


equipments, Considering equipments spacing, accessibility, operation and maintenance
requirements.

Review all vendor documentations to assure the compliance with the design and technical
requirements.

II- Piping Technical Experience

Preparing and reviewing piping specifications in accordance with the company standards
and general codes (full awareness of Bechtel standards, ARAMCO standards, ENPPI
standards).

Preparing and reviewing valves datasheets, vendor technical specifications and bidders’
quotations.

Provide piping technical input to P&IDs including piping classes, valve types and special
items.

Preparing pipeline and piping safety instruction sheets with the required calculations for
pipe wall thickness, Maximum allowable operating pressure (MAOP), and test pressure

Preparing and reviewing Hot Tap calculations in accordance to ASME B31.3, ASME
section VIII div. 1

III- Plant Design System (PDS) Experience

Piping Designer, Isometric Extraction, Drawing Manager, Piping stress analysis, Piping
supports designer, piping design data manager and Project administrator.

Provide PDS administration activities including PMC and PCD files update in accordance
with the project specifications, Reference database (RDB) update, Isometric options setup
and material reporting.

Review the plant 3D model from design, accessibility, Maintainability and constructability
using Smart Plant Review software.

Construction supervision on site activates for petrochemical and gas plants including:
Providing redesign solutions for the field Problems or changes (clashing mismatching lack
of material item)

EWYFG-1 20” pipeline for ARAMCO including valve stations,
pigging facilities and filtration stations.

UBTG-4 56” 192 KM pipeline, BJBFG-3 42” 7KM Pipeline, SRG-2
56” 56KM Pipeline for ARAMCO

sulfur trains to upgrade the process from normal CLAUS process to

HAWTAH stabilizer plant from 100MBCD to 200MBCD of
ARAMCO Light crude including installation of a new O.H
compression area new equipments to produce NGL from OH gas
5- Crude pipeline to Ras Elzawar Project: BI-10-00227 20” 18 KM
crude pipeline for ARAMCO including pigging and metering
facilities.

Scope of work:
• Review the Piping Design documents (P&ID, Isometrics, GA’s, Tie-ins list, Supports
Details, orientation drawings and vendor drawings).
• Prepare the required Man-hour estimate for the project scope.

Scope of work:
• Review the Piping Design documents (P&ID, Isometrics, GA’s, Tie-ins list, Supports
Details, and MTO).
• Check the Material availability at site stock and the material replacements when
required.
• Review the piping activities and completion in accordance with schedule
requirements.
• Compilation of piping scope activity work packs including MTO’s, drawings, method
statements, sequences, manpower & equipment requirements and project activity
durations.
• Identify the piping materials deficiencies affecting in successful activity completion.
• Liaised closely with materials procurement group to specify and instigate local and
international piping materials purchases.
