Local instability of mechanical behaviour, changing of mechanisms and scale levels of predominant damage accumulation for various macrohomogeneous stress-strain states are described. Regularities of uniaxial compression under side-pressure and damage localization, phenomena of 'quantum' character of damage evolution and unequal resistance to failure of granular composites are detected and investigated.
