In 2011, about Five lakh students appeared for the IIT-JEE. Out of these, only 13,104 students were admitted to the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IITs). Year on year, it is becoming increasingly difficult to clear IIT JEE. A perfect plan and strategy, through proper guidance and direction has now become imperative for success in this competitive examination. Our goal at Vidyamandir Classes (VMC) is to provide knowledge and guidance and thereby create an environment that not only guides students to the path of success, but also inspires them to recognize and explore their own potential. In 1990, VMC was the first IIT-JEE coaching institute to introduce an admission and talent screening test for prospective students.

In 1992, VMC took the lead in recognizing the need for organized and comprehensive study material, which was perfectly synchronized with the classroom sessions and was the first institute to introduce completely cohesive and scientifically designed course material for its students.

In 1995, VMC introduced a unique course called The Final Step (FS) which was a revision course for IIT-JEE preparation. This Course was intended to provide a comprehensive revision, just before the final exam. Subsequently this course has been merged with our two year Regular Classroom Course.

VMC was the first IIT-JEE coaching institute to introduce computer based feedback and analysis to students based on their performance in tests conducted by VMC. In 2007, VMC introduced online assessment for its students. The VMC online testing platform is to this day, one of the most advanced, unique and effective assessment platform available in the country.

Key Features Of VMC Pedagogy

STUDY MATERIAL
VMC provides its students with a set of study material that has been scientifically prepared to ensure comprehension of even the most difficult topics. It includes well designed layouts, innovative explanations, simple examples and other research-proven techniques of study material presentation. Every key concept is explained using carefully chosen questions with stepwise solutions which explain the core application of the concept. The study material covers every aspect of each topic and is completely self-sufficient. DETAILED THEORY PORTION This part explains the core concepts in a very simple and easy manner and helps in building a strong foundation for VMC students. SOLVED EXAMPLES & IN-CHAPTER EXERCISES This part illustrates the applicability of the theoretical concepts. Accurate and thorough explanations are provided to ensure students internalize the core concepts. Each step in the solved examples is carefully and systematically explained, to show students how to attempt a particular problem.

TEST SERIES
Two years of arduous preparation boils down to doing well on that all important day of the IIT-JEE exam. The very nature of this exam instills a lot of pressure in students and hence it is very important to build the right examination hall temperament so that students can tackle pressure, surprises and create dynamic exam-management strategies quickly. Hence testing, assessment and frequent mock examinations form the core of VMCs pedagogy. Test Series
The feedback of the course is in the form of Test Series held at regular intervals. These Test Series are held at multiple Test Centers providing a real Exam-like experience to the students. Taking good care of Board Exams

Another added feature that makes the course stress-free is the coverage of Class XII CBSE Board syllabus through comprehensive notes. These notes will supplement student's school studies and Pre-Board Exams.

Class Tests
Tests are held regularly in the class to assess the understanding of the topics by the students. Many of these would be in the form of Surprise Quizzes, so that students are forced to be regular in their preparation. In addition a number of chapter based practice tests are offered in online mode.

Aim-iiT Classroom Course

About The Course
The IIT-JEE is one of the toughest entrance examination in the world. It is becoming increasingly important for aspiring students to start their preparation early for this highly competitive exam. With the Class X Board Exams becoming optional, students of class X can now start planning and focusing on the IIT-JEE Exam from Class X itself. The undue stress and pressure of scoring well in the Class X Boards have now been eliminated and students can now concentrate on building their foundation for the IIT-JEE. The key to IIT-JEE success lies in building and reinforcing basic fundamentals and concepts. Earlier a student starts building this foundation, the better it is not only because he will get enough time to learn and practice these core concepts but also the course is spread over a longer duration which makes the learning process smoother and stress free, resulting in better outcome. Vidyamandir Classes has recognized this need and is proud to introduce Aim iiT Classroom Course for Class X students. This program is designed for those serious Class X students who want to get an extra edge which would go a long way in their journey towards securing a top rank in IIT-JEE.

Admission Procedure
Admission to the various VMC Courses for IIT JEE-2014 and for IIT JEE-2015 is now open. The details of the same are as follows:

Details about the Entrance Test

1. Admission Test Format & Syllabus:
The Syllabus for the Admission Test is given on page 13. The test paper will contain objective type of questions and will be of three hours duration.

3. Registration for the Admission Test

STUDENTS CAN REGISTER FOR THE EXAM IN TWO WAYS: Online Registration: You can register online for the VMC admission test by visiting the website www.vidyamandir.com. Post the online registration, an Admit Card will be generated and emailed to you. Your Admit Card will carry the details about your Allotted Test Center and Test timing .You are required to take a printout of this Admit Card and get it at the day of the test. You must put your photographs and signatures on the Admit Card as instructed and carry that with you to the test center on the day of the test. Admit Card without photographs will not be entertained and you will not be allowed to appear for the test. The prospectus will be couriered at your home address. Offline Registration: You can also register for the VMC Admission test by purchasing the prospectus from any VMC centers (Addresses in the end) across India. You will be required to fill the application form at the centre. Your Admit Card will be issued to you at the centre itself.

Important
We strongly advise students not to join any Coaching Classes, which claim to prepare you for the Vidyamandir Admission Test. You really do not need any form of coaching for our admission test. We would also like to remind the students and their parents that Vidyamandir Classes reserves the right to deny and even later terminate the admission of a student into any of our courses if it comes to our knowledge that the student has availed any coaching assistance from any institute specially to prepare for our Admission Test.
