Good morning, Mr. Chan. We are group7. Today we are going to present this project.

Our title is ’The favourite dining place of F.2 students’.


This survey aims at finding out the most popular dining place of F.2
students.
Also, it finds what food they like most, Are the food at their lunch healthy
and the factors that they consider in choosing a place for lunch.
To finds this information, we had designed a questionnaire. Our target is
all F.2 students.
We have give out 100 questionnaires and get back 73 Responses.
We had got some problems when we were doing this project. The
problem is the targets do not answer the question seriously. For this, we
tell them that it is the instruction of the teacher. Then they will do it
seriously. Here is our data analysis.
Q1: Where do you have your lunch?
-7% of the students have their lunch at home.
-26% of the students have their lunch at school.
And 67% of the students have their lunch outside.
In the pie chart, we can see that most of F.2 students have their lunch
outside.
That means:
The nearby restaurants are more popular.
Q2: What kind of food you like to have at lunch?
-1% of the students like to have congee at lunch.
-5% of the students like to have others food, such as rice at lunch.
-8% of the students like to have lunch box at lunch.
-10% of the students like to have bread at lunch.
-18% of the students like to have sushi at lunch.
And 58% of the students like to have noodles at lunch.
In the pie chart, we can see that most of F.2 students have their lunch
outside.
That means:
The nearby restaurants are more popular.
Q3 [a]: Do you like eating vegetables?
22% of the students don’t like to eat vegetables.
And 78% of the students like to eat vegetables.
In the pie chart, we can see that most of the students like eating
vegetables. That means:
Students are making a conscious effort on keeping good health.
Q3 [b]: Will you eat vegetables in your lunch?
-11% of the students sometimes eat vegetables at lunch.
-41% of the students don’t eat vegetables at lunch.
And 48% of the students eat vegetables at lunch.
In the pie chart, we can see that although 48% of the students eat
vegetables at lunch, 41% of them do not eat vegetables at lunch.
That means:
Many students have failed to make a good choice for lunch.
Q4: Where do you usually go to when you have lunch outside?
-10 % of the students will go to Bread Shop or Market.
-17% of the students will go to congee shop.
-19% of the students will go to Café De Coral.
-20% of the students will go to Wang Lee.
And 24% of the students will go to others like little jump bean.
In the pie chart, we can see that most of the students like to go to “Little
Jump Bean” to have lunch.
That mean:
The food quality of “Little Jump Bean” is good.
Q5: What is the main factor affecting your choice of the dining place?
-2% of the students choose Reputation.
-4% of the students choose others.
-6% of the students choose comfort.
-7% of the students choose Hygiene.
-32% of the students choose price.
And 49 % of the students choose taste.
In the pie chart, we can see that the main factor affecting students’ choice
is the taste of the food.
That means:
Students are not paying sufficient attention on the hygiene of the
restaurant.
For above information, we concluded that many students like to have
lunch outside.
They like noodles and,
they are conscious of their health and the taste of the food.
