Dear Brothers & Sisters,
In heartfelt fervency of thought and prayer ~ from the Chief Apostle to the
ranks of the youngest and newly ordained, regardless of ministry ~ the servants in
God's house still seek to fulfill what King Solomon expressed over God's peop!
in his time (1 Kings 8: 28):
“Yet have thou respect (Luther tronsiation - incline thyself)
unto the prayer of thy servant, and to his supplication,
O Lord my God, to hearken unto the cry and fo the
prayer, which thy servant prayeth before thee to day."
Revealed in this prayer Is the king's concem for the entire well-being of
God's people, not because he was their ruler, but because the covenant
between God and His people was the ruler over Solomon's heart and decisions
for them.
It would be indescribable to reveal the feelings that pass over all of our
souls, because of what we
* See that tempts,
+ Hear that upsets,
+ Face that creates fear,
+ live through that brings suffering.
all of this, God, our Heavenly Father, and His Son have
provided “servanis" who have godly compassion and whose prayers are
“dedicated to our service”. In the wisdom prompted by the Holy Ghost in the
gifts of their ministies, these servants bring to fruition Christ's Own statement
(Matthew 24:
“But he that shall endure unto the end, the same
shall be saved (\uther transition - blissful, ultimate joy).”

one week, one year, but our whole spiritual life-span. How many such situations
have we not all lived through - in the past, the present, and will as long as life
lasts.
The support for each one - member or servant, child or adult, strong or
weak, healthy or sick - comes from above according to Isaiah 35, especially
verses 3 and 4:
“Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees.
Say to them that are of a fearful heart, be strong, fear not:
behold, your God will come with vengeance, even
God with a recompence: he will come and save you."
This is the deep prompting In the soul of our Chief Apostle and the
inspiration of his ministry for God's work, that he will visit
ATLANTA, Georgia, U.S.A,
and conduct a divine service on
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 2001
that will be transmitted audio-visually throughout the United States, Canada,
Mexico, the United Kingdom, as well as certain regions in Central and South
America where this Is accessible. The District Rectors and local Rectors will
advise you of your respective locations.
The Divine Service will commence at 11:00 a.m. Eastern time,
with the usual choral and musical preparation, approximately one hour prior.
Regrettably seating Is limited. Those members in the Georgla region have been
advised of the location. Please note: :
Absolutely no one will be admitted into the at
without a ticket. Individyals from the facility will
collecting tickets, and no more than 700 can be inside
the auditorium due to municipal and fire regulations.
Such care that our Heavenly Father exercises over us must prompt our
souls to happy thanksgiving, since even the Lord Jesus asked in Luke 22:35,A turther highlight follows on October 14, 2001:
“OUR CHURCH THANKSGIVING SUNDAY”
in all the regions and countries worldwide, entrusted to our stewardship by our
Chief Apostle. This local service also has its special significance that we
dedicate our thankfulness to our Heavenly Father by our visible and Invisible
offerings and sacrifices. In spite of previously mentioned situations which we
have faced in the past years, we also have experienced God's words in Malachi
3:10:
“Bring ye alll the fithes (out of a compulsion of thankfulness) ....
and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if| will
not open you the windows of heaven, and pour out a
blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.”
May we ask that now already that you pray with us for all matters relating
fo both of these events that it may be - in our own hearts, in God's house, at
Christ's altar before the servant there, who Is the outlet for the Holy Spirit ~ as it
states in Hymn 180; “The dwelling’s set aright”. With sincerest love and greetings
from our Chief Apostle Fehr, In which we heartily Join,
Yours very sincerely
CSL, =
