It is my immense pleasure to write a few words in appreciation of the merit and academic records of
Sayad Md. Arafath Ruzdiana, son of S.M. Azizul Alam Montu is known to me as a direct student in his
four years undergraduate course in the Department of Applied Physics & Electronic Engineering,
University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. I possess a high opinion about the academic capabilities of Mr.
Ruzdiana. I have found him to be intelligent, industrious and persistent by nature. He obtained a second
class in the B.Sc. (Honors.) examination of 2005 (held in 2006). He completed a project work
successfully on Digital Volume Control of his honors degree. He has good potentialities to pursuit the
higher studies. He has a good organizing ability and has no emotional problems that might hamper his
higher studies.

Mr. Ruzdiana has great patience in doing research work. He was also a good cricket player in his own
department. He can easily cope with any environment. He possesses a good spirit to work in a group as
well. He is innovative, diligent and is able to solve problems independently and skillfully. He always
explained his views very concisely and gave supporting arguments that were both clear and persuasive.
He also demonstrated good team working skills in group assignments. I have no hesitation to say that
Ruzdiana was one of the competent student in the class. He is very sound in English. I believe, he will
be able to communicate using English in listening, reading, writing and speaking.

He is tall, young and active and goes well with fellow workers. I strongly recommend Mr. Ruzdiana for
getting admission in this university and also for financial assistance, if available to overseas students. He
would be an extremely positive asset to your program.
