Pool Exchange Quotation
Quotation will call on Pool Exchange Basis given quotation NO, Closing date

Sri Lanka Air Force may call some time items Pool Exchange on A.O.G.
Basis when item call on A.O.G. Basis you have to give shortest delivery.
(Preference will be given for ex-stock or who have offered shortest delivery
period). Also always indicate in your offer minium period of the core unite to be
received, otherwise extra cost so much - to be indicted.
If you offer OHC condition items you have to give warranty period TSN &
TSO and also present Brand New Price. If your prices & other condition O.K. Air
Force will place order with you and ask to ship the Pool Exchange item. Once
receipt the pool exchange item core unit will dispatch to you.
When forwarding the pool exchange quotation for each and every item you
have to fill the attached price schedule. ANNEXURE "B"

PRICE & DETAILS SCHEDULE
According to the above particulars we hope you can understand the working
procedure of Sri Lanka Air Force.
Now we are going to introduce you how Sri Lanka Air Force
compare price comparison.
As we have mentioned above Sri Lanka Air Force may receive several
offers from registered (world wide) suppliers for the relevant quotations, after in
receipt of those offers Air Force will prepare price competition scheduled to
select most competitive (Lowest Offer). Eg:- Attached herewith Annex "C" But
for the Repair/Overhaul/Pool Exchange offer’s not considered only by the
lowest price. There are other important points such as warranty and accurate and
realistic estimate to be considered for out right purchase quotation Air Freight
charges are very important. Because Air Fright calculate on pro-rata basis. If
you can offer lowest F.O.B. price as well as less freight (low freight) there will
be possibility to make your price competitive.
The Competitors Price Comparison
For price comparison (if the quotation requests to offer for 6 items) you
have to forward your offer for 6 items (you can forward offer for 1 item or
more) indicating unit price F.O.B. total price F.O.B. and Air Freight charges,
when the price comparison method of the Air Freight charges calculation on
pro-rata basis.

some other company. It is due to the prices and air freight charges quoted by
you.
 Then to meet Air Force requirements Air Force will place two orders one (A) OFFER NO. 1
order with you and other order with next lowest company according to our M/S Acro Aerospace Inc, Canada
previous experience this pro-rata freight calculation will be a disadvantage to
you when offering about several no of items (about 100 item). To avoid this you
have to offer a minimum freight charges and it should be reasonable. When you
quote more than one item please quote Air Freight charges as well as the
minimum item price.

companies according to their lowest C&F price.

Terms of Payment

A). PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR TERMS OF PAYMENTS FOR

PURCHASES ARE MADE BY MEANS OF AN IRREVOCABLE,
UNCONFIRMED LETTER OF CREDIT ON THE BASIS OF 60%
ON SHIPMENT BALANCE 40% AFTER RECEIPT OF GOODS BY
THE SLAF AT THIS END.

B). PAYMENTS FOR ORDERS WHICH ARE BY VALUE LESS THAN US

DOLLARS THREE THOUSAND (US$ 3000.00) WILL BE EFFECTED
BY BANK, DRAFT/TELEGRAPHIC TRANSFER ON RECEIPT OF
