    1. Uses Energy (food)
    2. Reproduction
    3. Growth
    4. Reacts to the Environment
    5. Composed of Cells
    6. Organization of cells and chemicals

    Scientific Method:
    1. Identify the problem
    2. Form a hypothesis
    3. Collect Data
    a. Observations: look, count, etc.
    b. Experimental: control & experimental group
    4. Analyze the data
    5. Conclusion: Did the data support the hypothesis?
    6. Return to the hypothesis step if your original was not supported
