Setting In the story, there are 13 Islands Odysseus and his men went. The Island of Cicones, Island of Lotus Eaters, Island of the Cyclopes, Island of the Wind, Island of the Laestrygonians, Island of the Aeaea, The Under World, Island of the Sirens, The Passageway between Scylla and Charybdis, The Island of the Sun God, Island of the Nymph Calypso, Island of the Phaecians and Island of Ithaca. While, in the movie, only 8 Islands were shown, The Island of the Cyclopes, Island of then wind, Island of the Aeaea, The Underworld, The Passageway between Scylla and Charybdis, Island of Phaecians and then to the Island of Ithaca.

Order of Events In the story, Odysseus first travel to the Island of Cicones but in the movie he traveled first in the Island of the Cyclopes which in the story, he traveled third. In the story he went to 13 islands but in the movie he went only to 8 islands and its not in order. Many islands were skipped in the movie.

Conclusion Our group understand the movie better than the story because we saw the courage and feelings which you will not feel in the story or in our notes. In the movie you can really feel the love of Odysseus to Penelope and his hope that he could go back home. If were Odysseus, I should have not go to bed with Circe and save my men who betrayed me for opening the sack that contains all dreadful winds. If he didnt save them he would have not stay with Circe for 5 years.

We learned many things by watching the movie. We learned to be brave, to not loose hope and most of all, always remember that someone is always waiting for us when we come back.
