Project Report Title: Overview of Cluster Finance and study of factors affecting in selection of home loan bank

ABSTRACT

In the report, main problem discussed are the factors which affects the buying behavior of consumer while going for taking a home loan. Another question in my research is to find out the leader in the market in home loan. I have prepared a questionnaire and taken the sample size of 100 respondents and then analyze their responses in SPSS. Research methodology used is descriptive type of research. In analyzing the data, SBI tops in home loan banks as per the respondents and it is followed by HDFC, ICICI, AXIS, PNBHFL and LICHFL. And in analyzing the factors affecting buying behavior of respondents while going for taking a home loan, Rate of Interest is the most important factor which respondent look while going for taking a home loan. Apart from this Turnaround time and Processing fees and prepayment charges are the other two factors which affects the respondents in selecting a particular bank for taking a home loan. And other factors like, easy to approach, Presence, Nationalization did not affect respondents to that extent in selecting a bank for home loan. If a particular bank want to have large market share than need to keep their on the rate of interest, turnaround time taken by the bank in sanctioning the loan and the processing fees and prepayment charges low which they charge on their customer for the loan which they have taken.
