Dear Sir/Madam

I am the owner of five Keith Joubert limited and signed edition of the ‘BIG FIVE’. Below follows a
detailed description. The pictures are tastefully framed with non-reflective glass.

I’m informed that there are definitely none available any longer and that the value is around R25 000. I
will consider offers.

My set is numbered 774/850 and signed by Keith Joubert.

My offering for sale of this collector’s set is a private sale.

The traditional 'BIG FIVE' - the African Lion, Leopard, Cape Buffalo, Elephant and Black Rhinoceros
have always been considered the 'ultimate' for every big-game hunting sportsman. This set of Fine Art
Prints, limited to 850 worldwide, signed and numbered, have been especially commissioned for
Rowland Ward Publications and executed by internationally famous wild life artist, Keith Joubert, under
the direction of the editor and publisher of Rowland Rowland Ward's 'Records of big Game'. These fine
art prints are both unique and exclusive for they portray impressions of the 'Biggest of the BIG FIVE'.
Working together, the Artist and Editor, have used the existing world records and trophy measurements
taken from Rowland Ward's 'Records of Big Game', 20th edition (Africa and Asia) 1986 and various
anatomical measurements such as average shoulder heights to obtain correct proportions.
Whilst today's modern ranking of trophies differs from the old methods, the Buffalo and Rhino studies
have been based on the length of the longest horn (Rhino) and greatest spread of the horns (Buffalo)-
the time-honoured way of judging and describing trophies by professional hunters in the field. Although
the largest Buffalo spread is shown in the records as 64 inches, this was an abnormal Female, so the
Buffalo impression has been bases on the largest Bull. The Elephant is based on the accurate weights
and measurements and photographs of the actual tusks now in the Museum of Natural History,
Kensington, and London. The Lion and Leopard impressions have been based on the skull
measurements.

The size of each picture with frame is 900mm wide x 750 long. It hangs in landscape fashion.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours sincerely
