Minimum Cut-oII Requirement oI IIM Ahmedabad

In the CAT 2007 bulletin, IIM Ahmedabad had announced the minimum cut-oII requirement Ior each
section and overall score as given under:
'Please note that the cut oII Ior short listing SC/ST/PWD candidates Ior group discussion and personal
interview would not be less than 17 score in each oI the three sections oI CAT-2007 and no less than
25 score in aggregate. For other categories, it would be no less than 25 in each oI the three sections
and no less than 33 in aggregate. The actual cut-oIIs used Ior shortlisting, however, may be higher than
the above mentioned percentage scores and would depend upon the perIormance oI candidates in CAT-
2007.

Category-wise, the number oI candidates, who met these criteria in CAT 2007, is as under:
General : 2302
OBC : 102
SC : 106
ST : 20
PWD : 8

Category-wise Short-listing Criteria and Number oI Candidates called Ior Personal Interviews
From the qualiIying candidates meeting minimum cutoII requirement, the candidates were shortlisted on
the Iollowing basis:

General Category candidates: 557 candidates whose percentile in each section was 95.6 and
above, and who had an overall percentile oI 99.3 and above, have been called Ior the Personal
Interview (PI).

OBC Category Candidates: 54 OBC candidates whose percentile in each section was 92 and above and
who had an overall percentile oI 98.5 and above have been called Ior the PI.

SC Category Candidates: All 106 candidates who met the minimum cut-oII requirement were short-listed
Ior PI.

ST Category Candidates: All 20 candidates who met the minimum cut-oII requirement were short-listed
Ior PI.
PWD Category Candidates: All 8 candidates who met the minimum cut-oII requirement were short-listed
Ior PI.
