British Airways Has Joined Amadeus Ticket Changer ATC

Dear Valued Customers, We are glad to announce that British Airways has joined the Amadeus Ticket Changer. ATC allows you to recalculate and prepare documents for the issuance of voluntary reissues automatically in a matter of seconds. So no more ADMs and no more calls to the concerned airline. Accordingly British Airways , EGYPTAIR & Etihad Airways allow using ATC with collecting penalty via Amadeus vMCO (Virtual Miscellaneous Charges Order). N.B: As per BA rules vMCO has to be manually inserted in the PNR as an OSI Item. Use free format text for this e.g. OS BA MPD 1251798961242. This entry is mandatory for BA process, Failure to complete this information could result in an ADM being generated. Please find below important notes about the ATC: - Wholly unused tickets are eligible for an unlimited number of reissues with ATC. - Only one reissue is allowed when tickets are partially used. After performing the ATC steps, you will find the below changes on Amadeus PNR: - A reissued ticket. - For a reissue with penalty a PNR Virtual Miscellaneous Charges Order (vMCO) line will be created. The system takes the penalty information from the voluntary reissue category of the fare rule attached to the fare which filed by the airline.
