With the Settings tab selected choose Dual Mode ActivBoards. Set Touch Input Handling to Full Touch Support . Touch interoperability should be set to OS compatible. In this case the Select tool is the default tool. Check Enable page turn gestures and Enable touch pan and zoom boxes. Then click Done. Users can now select touch and choose the Eraser for example and then select ActivPen and choose the Select tool. 9. To save the multi-touch profile in the Edit Profiles window select Save Profile As . . 10. Name the profile Full Touch and click Save. 11. To use these settings in the future select the saved profile. Using Touch Functionality 1. Select the Full Touch profile. 2. Use two fingers to rotate objects on the flipcharts page. 3. Select an image using one finger from each hand. Move the fingers together to zoom out or move the fingers apart to zoom in. 4. Repeat this process to zoom in or out of the entire page. 5. To pan the page use two fingers in a V shape and drag it. 6. Touch two images simultaneously to group them. Exploring Pen and Touch 1. 2. 3. 4. To switch between pen and touch use the Main Toolbox Use touch to resize or manipulate images. Use the pen to annotate over images. Pen and touch functionality is also available with tools such as the set square, ruler and protractor. To open the set square for example, select Tools, Maths Tools then choose Set Square 5. Use touch to position the set square. 6. Then use the pen to draw. Enabling Dual-User Two users can use pens at the board simultaneously. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. To activate dual user click on the Main Menu Choose View Then select Customize From the All Commands list select Dual User and Add it to the Main Toolbox Click Done. This option will now appear in the Main Toolbox 6. It is now possible for two users to write, highlight, draw and manipulate images at the same time.
