Du hiu bo trc cn au tim ph n Bnh tim hin l nguyn nhn hng u gy t vong ph n sau thi k mn kinh. Ph n cht v bnh tim nhiu hn c v cc chng ung th phi hay ung th v. Mi nm, mt na con s t vong v bnh tim Bc M l ph n. Nhng bnh tim khng ch l nhng cn au tim, m cn gm c nhng cn t qy cng nh ton b cc vn gy ra do s tun hon khng tt ca mu. 2. Thuc l v nhng h qu i km: bo ph
Vic ht thuc l v chng bo ph thng i i vi nhau. Ph n thng bt u ht thuc vo tui mi ln nh l mt cch gim cn. Mt cuc nghin cu nm 1997 ca trng i hc Memphis bang Tennessee cho thy phng php gim cn ny khng c hiu qu. Nhng thiu nin ht thuc l vn c kh nng dn dn b bo ph nh nhng ngi khng ht thuc. Ko nicotine

Ko nicotine hin nay c by bn t do trn th trng. Ngi b thuc s dng ko nh mt phng thc gim bt cn nghin v xa b cc triu chng. Ko nicotine gip bn t b nicotine bng cch gim dn dn liu dng cho n khi ngng hn, thng l mt tin trnh ko di khong 12 tun l.
Ming dn nicotine

Ming dn c cha nicotine thm qua da, vi cc thng hiu hin nay ti Hoa K nh Habitrol, Nicoderm, Nicotrol... c by bn t do. S dng phng thc ny gip tng gp i t l b thuc thnh cng. Mi bui sng, mt ming dn mi c dn ln mt vng da kh sch, khng c lng, v nguyn nh vy sut ngy. Mt s loi c ch to cung cp nicotine trong sut 24 gi. Tuy nhin, s cung cp lin tc nicotine vo mu i khi gy ra nhng gic m nhiu xo ng. Bn cng c th thy hi nga ngy rm ran hoc bng rt ni ch ming dn trong ln u tin. Tin trnh ny mang li hiu qu tt nht khi c s dng t nht l t 22

7 n 12 tun l, vi cng nicotine c gim dn. Nhiu ngi b thuc cho rng phng thc ny c hiu qu l v n gip h i ph vi yu t tm l ca cn nghin trc khi buc phi i u vi nhng triu chng vt l c th ca n.

Mt s cc phng php nh thi min, ta thin, chm cu... t ra hiu qu trong vic gip cho mt s ngi b thuc l. Vi thi min v ta thin, vic tr liu c th tin hnh vi mt ngi hay vi mt nhm ngi cng tham gia chng trnh. 24

5. S dng thuc h tr b thuc l Bupropion l mt loi thuc hin c th s dng gip b thuc l. Thng hiu trn th trng hin nay c Zyban. y l mt kh nng chn la cho nhng ai khng thnh cng trong cc phng thc s dng nicotine thay th. Trc y, bupropion vn c dng nh mt loi thuc chng trm cm. Do tnh c, cc nh nghin cu khm ph ra tc dng ca thuc trong vic gip b thuc l. Nhng th nghim u tin da trn c s l nhng ngi b thuc l thng c mt tm trng chn nn, thiu sinh ng. Do , cc nh nghin cu bt u dng bupropion i ph vi trng thi ny, khng phi l chng li cn nghin. Bupropion t ra hiu qu trong vic lm gim cc triu chng xy ra sau khi b thuc l, v c th c dng kt hp vi cc phng thc cung cp nicotine thay th. Cc nh nghin cu cho rng bupropion tc ng trc tip ln no b ph v sc gy nghin ca nicotine bng cch gy nh hng vo cng mt loi ha cht truyn tn hiu thn kinh ca no, chng hn nh l dopamine, ging nh tc ng ca nicotine. 25

Kh nng to khoi cm ca cc thuc gy nghin, chng hn nh nicotine v cocaine c to ra bi s tit dopamine. Vic ht thuc vo lm cho dopamine trn ngp trong no b. Tp ch y khoa New England cng b nhng kt qu ca mt cuc nghin cu trn hn 600 ngi nghin thuc l s dng bupropion b thuc. Vo cui cuc nghin cu, 44% ca nhm s dng liu cao nht (300mg) khng ht thuc na, so vi 19% ca nhm i chng dng gi dc, ngha l khng dng thuc g c. Sau mt nm, 23% ca nhm c dng thuc vi liu 300 mg tip tc khng ht thuc, so vi 12% ca nhm i chng dng thuc gi. S dng kt hp Zyban vi liu php thay th nicotine c v nh lm tng thm t l b thuc thnh cng. Mt cuc nghin cu ko di trong bn tun cho kt qu t l b thuc thnh cng nh sau: - Nhm i chng dng gi dc - Nhm s dng thuc Zyban 23% 49% - Nhm s dng ming dn nicotine 36% - Nhm s dng kt hp ming dn nicotine v thuc Zyban 58% 26
