Abstract
A majority oI studies and models Ior cross cultural communication points that the quality oI user
experience is related to users cultural background however not many studies dealt with what extent
these cultural characteristics have impact on the inIormation architecture oI websites. This project
aims to investigate the cultural Iactors and components oI inIormation architecture that are involved
in presentation, layout and categorization oI web contents among the websites oI organizations Ior
two diIIerent groups. InIormation architecture in the context oI culture reIers to the similarities or
diIIerences in the context, contents and users behaviour oI web contents oI two groups. The study
will also explore the dimension oI collectivism among the college students in two countries how it
explains the phenomenon oI inIormation architecture oI a website and culture.
