Kirschner, Sweller and Clark (2006) define direct instruction as providing information that fully explains the concepts and procedures that students are required to learn as well as learning strategy support that is compatible with human cognitive architecture. This is evident within practicum reports. Moreover the attached assignment demonstrates open-ended, restorative, inferential questions etc through adoption of the Integrated Model.

Effective communication and classroom discussion Effective communication and discussion is evident through the application of the whole classroom discussion strategy (see attached) and also through adopting a restorative practice philosophy and implementing constructivism as an approach regarding the Quality Teaching Framework (see attached philosophy).
