The Ten Commandments

ONE: 'You shall have no other gods before Me.'

TWO: 'You shall not make for yourself a carved image--any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.'
THREE: 'You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain.' FOUR: 'Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.' FIVE: 'Honor your father and your mother.'

SIX: 'You shall not murder.'

SEVEN: 'You shall not commit adultery.' EIGHT: 'You shall not steal.' NINE: 'You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.'

TEN: 'You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor's.'

Jerusalem

In history, No other city has been beloved and fought over as Jerusalem. A temple was built to keep the Ark of the Covenant in.

Jerusalem is a religious center sacred to all three monotheistic religions: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.

The Nation of Israel

Israel means The one who struggled with God The Israelites are the offspring of Jacob. The history of Israel goes back even further than 2000 BC. In fact, the selection of Israel as a special nation was part of God's plan from the beginning of time. God chose these people because of His love for them and His unconditional covenant with Abraham.

Holocaust

For many centuries Jewish people have been persecuted for their religious beliefs and were often viewed as outsiders. Adolf Hitler became the leader of Germany, and made many laws that restricted Jewish people's lives. Forced to wear the Star of David on their clothing to identify themselves as Jews Jews of Germany, and eventually the Jews of surrounding countries were all forced onto cramped dirty trains with no food or water for many hours and transported to concentration camps. 6 Million Jews were murdered.
