Subject matters with relevant houses & principal sub lords: As Told By Our Late Grand Great Guru

Sh. K. S. Krishnamurthi For analysis of a horoscope according to K. P. System one should be familiar with the subject matter, with relevant houses and the principal sub lords. So for the convenience of students few subject matters with relevant houses and the principal sub lords for assessing a horoscope are as under: Admission and Study 1. For school or college admission: For school and college admission the houses 4th, 9th and 11th & their sub lords should be considered. Studies up to secondary level are indicated by 4th house. Higher studies such as M.A., Msc. Professional courses such as engineering and medical courses, PhD and research etc are indicated by the 9th house and 11th house for fulfillment of desire. Therefore to know whether querent is fortunate to have continuous studies by regularly attending school and colleges house 4th and 9th along with 11th is to be judged. 2. For success in education: If the cuspal sub lords of 4th and 11th connected with 4th, 6th and 11th then success is assured and if 3rd, 8th and 12 than not. 3. For higher studies: For higher studies M.A., Ms., Ph. D, Research and professional or academic, whether engg. medical or any other subjects are to be determined by the 9th cuspal sub lord. Sixth cusp for success in entrance exams and 11th for fulfillment of desire. So if 9th cuspal sub lord is significator of 6, 9 and 11 the natives is destined to get higher studies. According to our Guruji Sh. K.S. Krishnamurthy, Mercury or the planets occupying the two signs of Mercury viz. Gemini and Virgo or the three stars of Mercury (Aslesha, Jyestha and Revati) produce engg. Students. As per rule of K. P. system Mars and Mercury combination shows engg. Student, Mars for mechanical and machinery (mechanical engg.), Saturn for civil and mining engineering, Venus for chemical engineering, textile engineering and computer engineering and Moon and Mercury for technical engg., Moon, Mars and Mercury for marine engineering, Venus and Mercury for electrical and electronics and computer engineering. 4. For scholarship studies: The houses 6th, 9th and 11th & 9th cusp sub lord should signify 6th and 11th house. 5. Studies overseas: For overseas studies first see one will go abroad at all or not. For this judge the 12th cusp sub lord, if that signifies 3rd, 9th or 12th, then one will go

abroad. Secondly the 12th house sub lord should be connected to 9th house, which is for higher studies. 6. Admission in college: The house 4th indicates the educational institutes and since his desire is to get admission, shows realization of ones ambition. Therefore sub lord of 4th is to be deposited in the star, the lord of which should be significator of 4th or 9th or 11th. 7.Admission in medical: The 4th and 9th house connecting to Sun, Mars & Leo or Scorpio or Sagittarius or Virgo sign and signification of 4th or 9th or 11th. For Occupation 8. For getting Job: The houses 2nd, 6th, 10th & 11th should be considered, 2nd house for ones bank position, 6th house for day-to-day attendance, and 10th house for profession and 11th house for fulfillment of desire. So consider 2nd, 6th, 10th and 11th and their significators. One will get the service when significators of 2, 6, 10 and 11th conjointly will operate as dasa, bhukti and anthra. 9. For government job: The houses 2nd, 6th, 10 & 11th and Sun connection with the 10th sub lord. 10. Transfer in Service: The 10th house indicates ones profession. The houses 3rd and 9th shows journey involved & 12th shows new surroundings. So sub lord of 10th cusp should be significator of 3rd, 10th or 12th houses. Also see if transfer is possible. In horary the sub lord of 5th or 9th cusp should be situated in the star whose lord should be in a moveable or dual sign. But for natal chart if anthra lord happens to be the sub lord of 5th or 9th then movement is certain and possible. 11. For promotion: The houses 2nd, 6th, 10th and 11th & sub lord of 11th cusp should be the significator of 2nd or 6th or 10th or 11th house and it should not be in retrograde sub and of these 6th and 11th are more important as 6th refers to service and 11th promises realization of ones ambition. 12. For business: The houses 1st, 2nd, 7th, 10th, 6th & 11th should be considered. The 10th house is primarily & finally the house of occupational life. While its connection to 6th indicates service, its connection to the 7th indicates business & its connection to both & dual signs indicate service as well as business. Lagna or the ascendant signifies ones capabilities, his power of leadership, control, and ability to execute what is laid down and lastly merely carried out what is ordered. Further sub lord of the Lagna will indicate ones success or failure in endeavor. The success or failure depends on dasa bhukti one is running. The 2nd house signifies the capacity & quantity one can earn. The relation of 2nd to 6th & 10th indicates earning through

service while its relation to 7th and 10th indicates earnings through business. The lord of 2nd house in the star of a planet indicates the means through which one earns, & the sign occupied by the star lord indicates the area of business, while sub lord occupied by the lord of 2nd indicate success or failure in the endeavor. The 6th house primarily tells of service & denotes income through exertion & day-to-day duty also. The 7th house primarily tells of business, customers/clients & others one has to deal with in the course of ones business. The fortification of 7th with 1st, 2nd, 6th, 10th & 11th is fruitful to the businessman while the contrary occurs when it is rendered weak, being connected with 5th, 8th, 9th & 12th. 13. For business change of place: Consider first whether, (a) one will move at all (b) will one be lucky thereafter and (c) where will one go (in the same town or the other). The 2nd, 6th and 10th are for service and business both and houses 6th, 8th & 12th to these i.e. 3rd, 5th and 9th respectively to be 6th, 8th and 12th to the 2nd, 6th and 10th. So person will change when 3rd, 5th & 9th will conjointly operate as dasa, bhukti and anthra. Will one will move or not note the sub lord of 4th house as 4th house indicates the present place. If the sub lord of 4th house is signify 10th and 12th then one will change business, as 10th for business and 12th new surroundings. Will one be lucky movement will be given by the 3rd house significators. If significator of 3rd is also significator of 2nd, 10 and 11th then one will have gains in the place to which one will move. But if the significator of 3rd is also significators of 8th and 12th one will move to loose whatever one have. Where will I go If sub lord of 3rd is Mercury that shows plurality, so one will first move to one place and not finding it good, one will move further as 3rd shows only movement, but it is the 12th cusp which indicates the place of stay outside. If 12th cusp is dual sign then in a dual city one will move Secunderabad Hyderabad, Delhi New Delhi. If 12th cusp is connected to 3rd only than to nearby place and if to 9th then to the city situated at long distance. 14. For gaining money: The houses 2nd and 11th are to be considered and 2nd sub lord should signify 11th house. 15. To win litigation: The houses 6th, 7th and 11th. The 7th sub lord should signify 6th or 11th. 16. For purchase of house: The 4th house shows ones own house, landed property, estate etc. The 11th shows fulfillment of desire & 12th house shows investment. Therefore houses to be judged for construction of a building are 4th, 11th & 12th & if a house already build and is to be bought off straight, judge the house 6th and 9th also

because the 7th house shows one who sells. The 6th is 12th to 7th and 9th is 12th to 4th counted from the 7th. For the purpose of plot also the same combination. 17. For sale of property: Property is indicated by 4th house, counted from the Lagna. The 3rd is 12th to 4th house. The 7th house shows one who purchases the property. The house 10 & 5th are respectively 4th (property) & 11th (fulfillment of desire of purchaser counted from the 7th). The houses 3rd and 5th and 10th counted from the Lagna of the consultant show therefore selling away of property. You want to sell away your property; the 7th house shows anybody with whom you deal. Whether he will be able to purchase your property or not is to be seen from the 4th cusp counted from the 7th i.e. 10th cusp counted from the Lagna. So judge whether 10th cusp sub lord is either retrograde or deposited in the star of retrograde planet. If sub lord is retrograde then wait. If sub lord in whom the sub lord of 10th sub lord is deposited is retrograde then you will not be able to sell the property. If the sub lord of 10th is also the significator of either 3rd, or 5th or 10th then you can and will sell. Also judge 3rd and 12th for giving possession. To know whether, you will get good price for your property or not see the dasa lord. If dasa lord is not the significator of 8th or 12th, you will get good price but it is significator of 8th and 12th the purchaser will be in favorable position. 18. Purchase of Vehicle: Houses to be considered 4th, 9th, 10th and 11th. If the sub lord of 4th cusp in a horary horoscope is either Venus being the significator of 4th or if the sub lord is deposited in the star of the significator of the 4th who has any connection with Venus, one will have either a vehicle or buy some furniture (Venus, if not significator of 4th, it cant indicate vehicle though it is said to be the chief governor of vehicle). Again to differentiate between these two, judge if the sub lord or the lord of the star in which the sub lord is deposited (being the significator of the 4th and also connected with Venus) were to be deposited in a moveable sign it shows vehicle, but if it is in a common sign, it may be vehicle or cradle like furniture which can move to and fro, but if it is in a fixed sign then only furniture. Will it be 2 wheeled or 3 wheeled or 4 wheeled or multi wheeled, like train or 6 or 8 wheeled Lorries etc. or wheeled ship or flying helicopter or plane? (A). If it is a bicycle, manual labour is needed. Hence Saturn will be connected with the significator indicating purchase of vehicle. (B). If it is a motorcycle, there is a machinery, petrol or oil is used. Hence the significator should be connected with Mars, Venus and Moon. Moon & Venus

indicate petrol and Mars machinery. (C). If it is a four wheeled, then also the above three planets should be connected with those significator who promise purchase of vehicle and also with the four legged sign i.e. Aries, Taurus Leo, and half of Sagittarius and Capricorn. (D). If the significator of the 4th house promising purchase of vehicle is deposited in the sub, the lord of which is in any of these signs of Gemini, first half of Sagittarius or Aquarius or Pisces then it is two wheeled vehicle. (E). If the significator indicating purchase of vehicle were to be deposited in bestial or four legged sign, or in its star lord, then it can be a car or anything similar to it. Aries, Taurus, Leo, Second half of Sagittarius & Capricorn is bestial signs (four wheeled). (F). If the significator of the purchase of the car is connected with Saturn, it shows self-drive. If it is connected with Jupiter there is driver appointed. If both Jupiter and Saturn are connected, sometimes he himself will drive & sometimes the driver. If the significator of 4th is also significator of 2nd, 6th & 10th he will buy one & drive for others use like ones own taxi or private tourist car. If the significator is also connected with Rahu & Ketu & is also significator of 10th then he will use the office car. (G). If the significator is deposited in the sub of a planet who is the significator of the 4th & it is in the star ruled by a planet, deposited in a watery sign, may be a boat hand driven, if Saturn is one of the planets, or if Mars, Venus, Moon are connected motorboat. If only Mars & Moon are connected it should be driven on steam when it will be a ship. Saturn shows sub-marine. If the signification of the 4th cusp is very strong & it is deposited in the sub of a planet deposited in the star of one occupying airy sign, one will buy airplane or helicopter. The significator should be connected with Mars, Venus & Moon. One can have many vehicles if Mercury & dual sign are connected with 4th house sub lord & significators of 4th house. 19. Sale of vehicle: Purchase of vehicle is to be judged from the houses 4th, 9th, 10 & 11th because 4th shows vehicle, 9th & 10th shows enjoyment in this birth due to good done in previous birth & 11th for fulfillment of desire. For sale of vehicles the house counted from the 7th (buyer) 4th, 9th, 10th & 11th i.e. 3rd, 4th, 5th & 10 from Lagna. For disposal when dasa bhukti & anthra are connected to 3rd, 4th, 5th and 10th will operate one will sell his vehicle. 20. For childbirth: The houses 2nd, 5th and 11th are to be considered. The 2nd house is for addition of member in family, 5th for issue or childbirth & 11th being 5th to the 7th

the legal partner or wife & fulfillment of desire. The sub lord of 11th of husband chart should signify 2nd or 5th or 11th or Jupiter then only child would be born & in wife chart the 5th cusp sub lord should signify 2nd or 5th or 11th. 21. For no child: The houses 1st, 4th 10th and 5th cusp sub lord if signifies this house and have relation with barren houses and have no connection at all with Jupiter then there is no child. 22. For successful actor or actress: If sub lord of the 5th house is deposited in the star of a planet has connection with the significators of houses 5th, 6th and 10 one can be popular as an actor and it has connection with the 11th one will be prosperous, If Mars connection with these houses, he or she can be a leader among them as there will be no inferiority complex and no stage fear, but success alone. 23. For successful singer: The 5th should be considered for artists, musicians and singers etc. The 5th house shows music and the 2nd vocal music. Venus in particular gives taste for music. Venus is for melody and Moon for shrill and sweet voice and Mercury for rhythm. Venus in 2nd makes a vocal musician and 5th house and Venus shows music, cinema and drama etc and Mercury for plurality, voice, talk and changeable voice and dubbing etc. And if sub lord of 5th deposited in a star of a planet in Aquarius or Leo and have connection with the significators of 2nd, 5th, 6th and 10th one will be a singer. 24. Will one become a politician or statesman: The fifth house shows ones desire to become a politician or a statesman? If sub lord of he 5th is the significators of 5th and 11th and 2nd and 6th then one can become a politician or a statesman. 25. Am I pregnant: If one is anxious to know whether one is pregnant or not then the sub lord of 5th should be a significator of 2nd, 5th or 11th and also deposited in the fruitful sign. 26. Will wife deliver a twin: If sub lord of 5th cusp is deposited in the star of a planet, which is, either Mercury or which occupies any of the dual sign, Gemini, Sagittarius or Pisces then twin birth is assured? 27. Will invalid child pick up health: If consultant is the parents of the child take the 5th cusp indicating the child? If the 5th sub lord is deposited in the star the lord of which is the significator of the houses 3 and 5 the child will pick up, but if sub lord of 5th is significator of 10th and connected to Saturn in any manner indicates that child cannot recover health and will remain for ever sick. 28. Will my love affairs will materialize: If the sub lord of 5th cusp is deposited in

the star of the planet that is the significator of houses 7th and 11th then love affairs will materialize, but if the sub lord of the 5th is the significator of 6th or 12th then the love affair will not materialize. If is in the star of the 6th house significator the other party will back out and if the sub lord of the 5th is significator of 12th then consultant himself will back out. 29. To become sportsman: The houses 3rd, 10th and 11th along with Mars to be considered. The 5th sub lord is the deciding factor and if 5th sub lord being Mars or any planet deposited in the star of Mars and is significator of 3rd, 10th & 11th then one will be a sportsman. 30. For disease: The houses 1st and 6th and particularly 6th sub lord or 1st sub lord should signify 6th or 8th or 12. The 8th house is for danger & 12 for hospitalization. 31. For getting loan: The houses 2nd, 8th & 11th (6th also involved). Judge 6th cusp sub lord (as 6th house indicates borrowing a loan) and find whether it is retrograde then wait & if in the sub of a retrograde planet you can not get a loan. 32. For victory over enemies: The houses 1st, 6th and 11th and their sub lords should signify improving houses (as per K. P. System) - 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 6th, 10th and 11th. 33. To enter in to service: The sub lord of the 6th is to be in the star of a planet signifying 10th and 11th. 34. Will I be able to get entangled money back: Whether one borrow or get ones dues back the 6th cusp sub lord is to be considered and find out whether the lord of the sub of the 6th is either in the star or sub of a retrograde planet then one can not borrow and nor can recover the money lent or given or deposited (but as per the practical cases the some times retrogression effect does not come to the forefront, but only delay and drag the matter, if the sub lord is a strong significator of the matter concerned). If star lord and sub lord in whom the 6th sub lord is deposited are direct one can recover and borrow. If it is Saturn then there will be delay and some obstacles to recover or borrow. If it is Mercury one will correspond and send agents and recover or borrow in installments. If it is Jupiter and badly deposited one will recover through court and the same Jupiter is the sub lord and well-deposited one gets easily through courts by lawful means whatever one has lent or given. If Saturn aspects Jupiter, one recovers only part of it or part by part. If Mars is the sub lord one threatens the other and recover, and even one may take the help of gonads. If Moon is the sub lord very quickly the money is recovered. If Venus is the sub lord then by sweet compromise one regains his money back. If Sun is the sub lord then with the

help of Govt., or by litigation one will receive. 35. Will I be able to borrow: The 6th cusp is the house, which is for loan or borrowing? If the sub lord of the 6th cusp is Sun then one will get from the government or from father. If it is Moon very quickly the lender will agree to give the loan (and it can be from the mother also). If it is Mars there will be some obstacles in borrowing (and may be from the brother one may borrow). If it is Mercury then one gets the loan in installments. If it is Jupiter then with honor and lawful means one will borrow and if it is Venus in a friendly way the borrowing will take place. If Saturn then delay and dejection and obstacles and if Saturn aspect the sub lord may it be any planet one get only part of the amount or gets part by part. 36. Will my tenant will vacate: The 6th house denotes the tenant and 8th house is for vacation (as 8th is 3rd from the 6th). Thus if the sub lord of 6th cusp has any connection with the 8th the tenant will certainly vacate the place. 37. Getting a tenant: The houses 4th, 6th and 11th and 6th sub lord should signify 4th and 11th. 38. Getting a telephone: The house to judged are 3rd, 9th and 11 house and sub lord of 3rd should signify either the 3rd or 9th or 11th. 39. Report false or true: One is to judge the 3rd cusp for any information or correspondence, communication or report. We have to find out the sub lord of the 3rd cusp and note in which star the sub lord is deposited. If the sub lord of the star in which the sub lord is deposited is Saturn, the report is false. But if it is Mars then it is mischievous and false. But if it is Jupiter, it is true, and if the lord happen to be any planet connected with Saturn in any manner the report is false, but with Jupiter report is to be correct. 40. To win lottery: The houses 3rd, 8th and 11th & sub lord of 3rd (as 3rd house is for lottery) and for winning the 11th cusp should signify either 2nd, 6th or 11th but the time of winning by 2nd, 6th and 11th significators transiting the star of 2nd, 6th and 11th with agreement with the dasa bhukti and anthra. 41. Over draft: The houses 2nd, 6th and 10th should be considered and the sub lord of 6th should signify these and it should not be in a retrograde sub and star. 42. To sign an agreement: The sub lord of the 3rd cusp is to be deposited in the star of the planet that is the significator of 6th and 11th. 43. To lay the foundation: The sub lord of 4th is to be in the star of a planet, which is the significator of 11th and of 5th and 12th.

44. Interview: Interview means two persons to meet and discuss. Therefore the 3rd house is to be considered (as 3rd is for the meeting interview and discussion) along with 9th (agreement between them) as 9th is 3rd to the seventh the other person and 11th the house for fulfillment of desire. The sub lord of the 11th if deposited in the star the lord of which is in direct motion sooner or later one will have the interview. Also note the ruling planets and work out; the person is to wait till the position of the zodiac ascends in the east, which is governed by the ruling planets. 45. Negotiation successful or not: the negotiation depends on the nature of the query. If it is for marriage consider the 7th house along with the 3rd and 9th, if it is for adoption of child consider 5th along with the 3rd and 9th and if it is for the business or take over of industry judge 10th and 6th. When the significator of above mentioned houses will conjointly operate then only result will be positive. For negotiation consider the sub lord of 3rd house. The 7th house shows with whom the negotiation is with and 3rd from the 7th is 9th the house which will tell that it will conclude or not. If the sub lord of the 3rd is in the star of a planet signification of 3rd and 11th the negotiation will be successful. 46. Appeal successful or not: If the sub lord of the 3rd is in the star of a planet who is the signification of 6th and 11th then one will have success and if in the signification of 5th and 12th there is no success. 47. For marriage: The houses 2nd, 7th 5th, 3rd and 11th are to be considered. The 7th house sub lord should signify either the 2nd or 7th or 11th or 3rd or 5 or Venus or Jupiter the marriage is promised. When the marriage will take place for this consider the significators of 2nd, 7th, 3rd and 11th and 5 when conjointly they will operate as dasa bhukti and anthra in agreement with transit of Sun and Moon. 48. For 2nd marriage: The house 2nd, 7th and 11th. The 7th sub lord either Mercury or a planet in a dual sign or whatever the sub lord of 7th if in the star of a planet in dual sign and 2nd sub lord signify 7th and 11th. 49. For divorce: The houses 1st, 6th, 4th, 10th and 12th are to be considered. And particularly sub lord of 7th should signify these. 50. For re-instatement in service: The house 2nd, 10th and 11th is to be considered and particularly if the sub lord of 6th signify the 2nd, 6th and 10 then yes, but if sub lord of 6th signify 1st or 5th or 9th then not. 51. Hardware shop: The houses 6th & 11th and Saturn and particularly the sub lord of 10th should signify these.

52. Reunion with husband: The 2nd, 7th and 11th and sub lord of 11th should signify either 7th or 2nd. 53. To start a business: The sub lord of 7th is to be deposited in the star of a planet, which is signification of 6th and 11th. 54. Will I go overseas on probation or on promotion: If the sub lord of the 6th cusp is deposited in the star of a planet which is significator of 9th and 12th, one will go overseas only on probation, training, education, but if the sub lord of 6th is deposited in the star the lord of which is significator of the 11th and also either of the 6th or 10th one go on promotion. 55. Will he be a chaste: If sub lord of the 7th or the planet in whose star the sub lord is deposited is neither Mercury nor one occupying dual sign and also if the sub lord of the 11th is in the star of the planet signifying the 7th house the person will remain chaste. When Sun lord of the 11th is in the star of the planet signifying 6th even though one may be with other sex, yet other sex will not permit beyond a particular limit and thereby the person has necessarily to remain chaste. 56. The person will not be chaste: If the sub lord of the 7th is Mars or Venus or Saturn and if the sub lord of the 7th is deposited in the star of Mars or Venus or Saturn, or occupying one of the signs belonging to Mars or Venus or Saturn, then one will not be chaste and also these planets Mars, Venus or Saturn if are connected to the Lagna or the 7th and 5 and 8. 57. Will the partnership break or continue: If the sub lord of the 7th cusp is connected with 6th and 12 the partnership will break and if connected with 5th and 11th then more permanent tie will be there. 58. Can I buy him or bribe him: Whomsoever you want to bribe or buy is to be judged from the 7th house and 11th house is both benefactor and fulfillment of desire and also success, so if the sub lord of the 7th is deposited in the star of the planet signifying the 11th house then you can straight way buy him or bribe him, but if the 7th house sub lord is deposited in the star of the planet who is significator of 5th, 8th and 12th then he will receive money and cannot and will not oblige. 59. Will I get money by way of will from my uncle: If the sub lord of 8th if significator of 6th and sub lord of 6th if connected with the 11th house then only. 60. Will I get donation: The houses 2, 6 and 10 and in horary if the sub lord of 8th is in the star of the planet who is significator of 6th and the sub lord of the 6th is the significator of 2 or 6 or 10 then getting donation is promised.

61. Shall one will commit suicide: If the sub lord of the 8th cusp is deposited in the star of a planet that is the significator of bhadhakasthana or marakasthana and also of 8th and 1st and have strong connection with Mars then one will do the suicide. 61. Can I expect dowry: Dowry means to give cash and jewels, vessel and goods etc to the would be husband. As jewels and liquid cash etc are considered by the 2nd house and the partner is expecting dowry from the wife, then the 2nd house from the 7th indicate the value of dowry and 6th and 11th denotes the partner giving the money and husband accepting it as a gift or present. Therefore the sub lord of the 8th house is to be deposited in the star of the planet signifying the matters of the 6th and 11th. But if the sub lord of the 8th happens to be the significator of 5th and 12th then the husband is to give. For the extent to which one has the dowry has to be ascertained from the strength of the lord of the star in which the sub lord of the 11th is deposited. Yet, if it were to be in the star of a planet, which is exalted, then most satisfactory dowry will be received. Even though the sub lord of the 11th cusp may be exalted, yet if it is in the star of a planet which is debilitated then the dowry is less. 62. Any partner in business: If the sub lord of the 8th is deposited in the star of a planet signify houses 6th and 11th, one have a partner in the business, but if the sub lord of 8th is deposited in the star the lord of which is the significator of the houses 5 and 12 never have a partner in business. 63. For publishing a book: The houses 3, 9 and 10 are to consider and the 9th sub lord should have connection with 3, 9 and 10. 64. For change being good to me: The houses 2, 6, 10, 11 and 12 are to be considered. The sub lord of 3rd or significator of 3rd is also significator of 11th one will gain so change is good. 65. Will I do PhD: The houses 9 and 11 are for submitting the thesis or do research and come out successful and 9th sub lord should have connection with the 11th? 66. Will I sit for competitive examination: For competition the points for consideration are whether one has the courage to compete, secondly whether he will be able to appear and thirdly whether he will come out successful? For the courage to compete 3rd house is to be considered. If the sub lord of the 3rd is Moon one tries to adjust him in the present circumstances and does not take bold decisions. If it is Saturn, one will be very cautious and lack in confidence is there. If Mercury, the native will be double minded. The planets Sun, Mars, Jupiter and Venus as the sub lord of the 3rd will give courage and confidence to compete. Whether one will be able to appear or not are to be judged from the strength of the horary Lagna. If Lagna is
