SOP for Calculating Delay in Monitor Runs

Step 1 – Select any 2 monitors which runs every 5 minutes for all the day (No
maintenance Schedule) and has almost No error runs.

Step 2 – Go to Report tab and generate a quick report for the selected monitors
one-by-one for one complete day (12:00 AM to 11:59 PM). For generating report use
these options.

1. Generate the report for every 6 hours because sitescope gives you first 100
good readings.
2. Check Listing of Errors/Warnings/Goods. You can use Graph and summary of
uptime and readings as well to verify in a look that monitor was working fine
all the time.

Step 3 – When you verify that monitor was fine all the time you can copy all the
good readings in Excel. Copy the error readings as well in case of any.

Step 4 – Repeat the same for whole day in group of 6 Hrs so you get every single
reading for whole day.

Step 5 – Once you have all the data in Excel, Insert one more column next to time
of monitor reading column and put a formula for <current monitor run time> -
<Last monitor run time>. (Motive is to calculate duration between monitor runs).
Step 6 – Once you have the duration column calculate the avg. and max duration
between monitor runs and mention in the attached template. Also mention top 3
max readings and the time when it happened.

Step 7 – Calculate it for 2nd monitor in same way.

Step 8 – Update the attached template.
