BIOVENTING REMEDIATION OF SOIL POLLUTED BY OIL

ZHANG Feng, XUE Xiao- hu
( College of Environmental Science and Engineering , Taiyuan University of Technology ,
Taiy uan 030024, China)
Abstract: As an in- situ remediation technique combined with physical treatment and biolo gical
treatment, bioventing has a wide prospect for remediating soil functions polluted by oil and maintaing
soil environment in application. In this pa per, the design and superiorities of bioventing process, the
influencing factors and intensification methods of remediation effects were summarized. According to
the present situation in home and abroad for bioventing technique, applications in spot and mathe
matical model in the process of bioventing were needed to study furtherly.
Keywords: oil pollution; in- situ remediation; bioventing; biodegradation
