I HAVE HAD DIRECT EXPERIENCE OF KARMA IN MY OWN LIFE AND IN THE LIVES OF OTHER PEOPLE WHO I KNOW AT FIRST OR SECOND HAND. I CAN ALSO SEE THAT KARMA HAS OPERATED IN THE HISTORIES OF HUMAN COMMUNITIES AND INSTITUTIONS. THESE ARE NET WORKS OF RELATIONS BETWEEN MORTAL HUMAN BEINGS WHO REPLACE THEIR PREDECESSORS AND ARE REPLACED IN THEIR TURN BY SUCCESSORS.
