SCOPE:

Construction oI class room and Iaculty oIIices in a 3 story Ior the Telecommunication
Engineering Department .The construction oI project has to be completed within 1 year using
Iast track technique.

OB1ECTIVES:

To construct a 3-story building Ior students and Iaculty members oI Telecommunication
Department. This work has to be completed in 6 month and the cost not to exceed Rs 17-18
million rupees. The quality oI work is not speciIied so minimum quality is needed.(assumption)

METHODLOY:

Based on the previous knowledge on similar type oI project Iollowing methodology
should be adopted in order to complete the project in the speciIic time and within the limit
resources.
As the location oI the project is very critical so it is diIIicult to do excavation and
construction activity during peak hours when students are studying, so the maximum work has to
be done in holidays and in that time when there are less people around ad Ior this machinery and
all the required resources are to be available on the site, so to utilize the available time is most
eIIicient manners

DESIN AND SPECIFICATION RE"UIREMENT
AREA AND SITE CONSTRUCTION PRACTISE
1. For such kind oI construction in this locality; skill labor is locally
available, drum mixers are used Ior concreting, bar bending and
placing is done on site and diIIerent works can continue
simultaneously.
2. Work cannot be carried out in night time.
3. Excavator which is used Ior excavation is charged on hourly basis,
labour on per day basis and other resources are charges as per
quantity.
4. More charges has to be paid Ior upper stories and precautions have
to be strictly Iollowed.
5. Since the strata is hard it is best to use the excavator Ior excavation
but in the presence oI students the use oI this kind oI machinery is
not allowed so the excavation should be carried out by labor.
