A 25-foot statue depicting Alfred Eisenstaedt's iconic image of a sailor and nurse celebrating V-J Day in Times Square was recently erected on Highway 41 in Sarasota, Fla., as part of the city's "Season of Sculpture," making the famous couple larger-than-life. SARASOTA, Fla. The sculpture, by J. Seward Johnson, is titled Unconditional Surrender.
