pH: Acidity and Alkalinity: Nitrates: 0.3 ml of saturated solution of potassium chloride 0.05 ml of methyl red 0.1ml of bromothymol blue solution 0.4 ml of a 100 g/l solution of potassium chloride R, 0.1 ml of diphenylamine solution R and, 5 ml of nitrogen free sulphuric acid R. 0.5 ml of nitrate standard solution (2ppm NO3) Heavy Metals: 2 ml of acetate buffer pH 3.5, 1.2 ml of thioacetamide reagent, lead standard solution (1 ppm Pb), Ammonium: alkaline potassium mercuri iodide solution 1ml of alkaline potassium mercuri iodide solution to 2ml dilute ammonium chloride solution Calcium and Magnesium: 2 ml of ammonium buffer pH 10.0, 15 mg of mordant black II mixture and 0.5ml of 0.01M disodium edetate Chlorides: 1 ml of 2 M nitric acid 0.2 ml of 0.1 M silver nitrate Sulphate: 0.1 ml of 2 M hydrochloric acid 0.1ml of barium chloride solution. 10 ml of 1M sulphuric acid 0.1ml of 0.02 M potassium permanganate

Raw analysis
Total Hardness: 10 ml of ammonium chloride buffer and pinch of Erichrome black indicator, 0.05 M EDTA solutions. 5 ml of chlortex
