UPTOWN DAGUPAN S MEDICAL-DENTAL MISSION AIDS MORE THAN 2,500 BENEFICIARIES IN DAGUPAN CITY The Rotary Club of Uptown

Dagupan 2000 conducted Medical-Dental Mission in four barangays in Dagupan City during the month of December as its PAMASKONG HANDOG. The four barangays were chosen from the poorest of the poor who do not have the enough means to access medical and dental services. In Barangay Pugaro last December 8, more than seven hundred residents received medical and dental care, free medicines and free soap and anti-dengue lotion. After Barangay Pugaro, about six hundred residents in Barangay Pantal were chosen to be the beneficiaries of the medical-dental mission last December 13. In addition, free infant formula, deworming tablets and other medicines were given. After reaching out to indigents from Barangay Pugaro and Pantal, RC of Uptown Dagupan 2000 continued to provide medical-dental services in Bangusville last December 17 and in Sitio Korea and Sitio Silungan, Bonuan Binloc. More than five hundred residents of Bangusville and around seven hundred residents of Bonuan Binloc flocked to avail the medical-dental services. In addition to free medicines, milk formula, anti-mosquito lotion, deworming tablets and snack packs were also given. The project was made possible through the Php500,000.00 grant from Rotarian Vice Mayor Belen Fernandez and the supports from Region 1 Medical Center, Philippine Dental Association-Pangasinan Chapter, Pangasinan Chamber of Commerce and Business, nurses from Colegio de Dagupan, Lyceum Northwestern University, University of Luzon and University of Pangasinan.
