of Thanksgiving for Being Called as Children of God Invitation to Celebration Leader: Today, we are gathered as brothers and sisters to celebrate once again the new life that God has given us. By the virtue of Baptism, He gave us His grace to be the light of the world. Let us begin our celebration by singing our call to be the best bearers of Gods light: LEAD ME LORD Lead me Lord, lead me by the hand And make me face the rising sun Comfort me through all the pain That life may bring There's no other hope That I can lean upon Lead me Lord Lead me all my life Walk by me, walk by me across The lonely road that I may face Take my arms and let your hand Show me the way Show the way to live inside your heart All my days, all my life Chorus: You are my light Youre the lamp upon my feet All the time, my Lord, I need You there You are my light I cannot live alone Let me stay by Your guiding love All through my life Lead me Lord Lead me Lord Even though at times I'd rather go alone my way Help me take the right direction

Annicca Delfin Albano, HS IV-06 (Batch 12 of SBCA) PARA-LITURGY Take Your road Lead me Lord And never leave my side All my days All my life You are my light You're the lamp upon my feet All the time my Lord I need You there You are my light I cannot live alone Let me stay By Your guiding love All through my life You are my light You're the lamp upon my feet All the time my Lord I need You there You are my light I cannot live alone Let me stay By Your guiding love All through my life All through my days Lead me, Oh Lord Lead me Leader: We gather today in your name Oh Lord, as the people you have called to be born anew to a life with you as the light of the world and the salt of the earth. All: We worship you. We thank you. We glorify you. Leader: You have brought us the light that gives us hope that we may be saved. All: We worship you. We thank you. We glorify you. Leader: You have bestowed to us the Holy Spirit to guide us every day of our lives. All: We worship you. We thank you. We glorify you.

Annicca Delfin Albano, HS IV-06 (Batch 12 of SBCA) PARA-LITURGY Leader: You have called us to lead us in the perfect path towards Your Kingdom. All: We worship you. We thank you. We glorify you. Leader: Even at times when we start to lose hope, you always guide us to the door that you have opened for us. All: We worship you. We thank you. We glorify you. Leader: You are seated at the right hand of the Father in whose presence you wish to gather us. All: We worship you. We thank you. We glorify you. Leader: All honor and glory be to the Father through Christ, with Christ and in Christ, in the unity of the Holy Spirit forever and ever. All: Amen. CELEBRATION OF THE WORD A reading from Matthew 5: 13-16 The Similies of Salt and Light You are the salt of the earth. But if salt loses its taste, with what can it be seasoned? It is no longer good for anything, but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. You are the light of the world. A city set on a mountain cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a bushel basket; it is set on a lampstand, where it gives light to all in the house. Just so, your light must shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your heavenly Father. The word of the Lord. (Silence for meditation) REFLECTION We are brought to a new life with Christ during our Baptism. This new life has washed away our sins in hopes that we may continue to live a life according to His plan. Sometimes, in our way to his Kingdom, we fall down to our knees, complaining about our earthly hardships. But, God has always been there to carry us in His back so that we may still continue the journey that we have started. When we start to lose hope, remember that God has light up the world for us. (SHARING OF PERSONAL REFLECTION 1 student)
