This is an excerpt out of Orville Wrights Diary. The excerpt is from 1903 when they flew the 1903 Wright Flyer. In it he states how his first flight went and the problems that he and his brother had with the plane as they took off for the first flight. This gave me an idea of how they thought and looked at everything on the airplane.

This is an article from the New York Times talking about their 1908 Model A Flyer. In it saying how big it was and how many people it could carry. Also that it traveled almost exactly 1,000 feet . also about which way it went and how fast it traveled. This gave me an idea of what most people thought of the Wright brothers flights.

This website article is from the first person ever to report a flight. In it he talks about the making of the plane and how it works, also about its engine. Amazingly there is only two or three mentions of the flight that the writer reported. This article helped me see how others reacted and if there really were people sneaking a peek at the flyer. OPA.
