Hi friends!!!!

Godrej Infotech is a good upcoming infotech company. If u are a fresher it is definitely a good start for your IT career. But getting into it is a bit tough. The rounds are as follows.

1st round is Box test. It is very different and tough as well. Very few people clear this Round. It has 10 questions and 60 min. Rules are as follows. You have to manipulate boxes using 4 basic operations i.e. addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. m+n=m or n m-n= m

m*n=m or n m/n=m (remainder is ignored.) Example. box contains a b c operations [1] [2] [3]

a+b

[1]+[2]=[1]

a+b

c-b

[3]-[2]=[3]

There is one example on the front page which gives idea about the manipulation. 90% of the questions are from Godrej Infotech Documents in Job Fair 2010 community. But still you need good practice. Try to memorize solution for as many questions as you can. I remember one question and solution.

Box-1 = A Box-2 = B Box-3 = C Bring 3A-2B-C in Box-1. Use subtraction only. Use 4 steps only.

A A 2A-B 3A-2B 3A-2B-C

B B-A B-A B-A B-A

C C C C C 2-1=2 1-2=1 1-2=1 1-3=1

25% marks deducted for every extra step. so try to get answer in specified steps only. Cut off is 6 or 7 out of 10.

2nd round is aptitude test.

It is even more tough. It has 5 sections.

1st section 20 questions 20 min no -ve marking 2nd section 20 questions 10 min -ve marking 3rd section 10 questions 20 min -ve marking (tables and data interpretation) 4th section 6 questions 10 min break 5th section +90 questions 90 min -ve making 20 min no -ve marking.

Most of the questions are on sequence and series. Practice it from R S Agrawal. It has sectional cut off. So rather than completing the section, aim to solve atleast 60% questions correctly in every section. Very few people clear this round.

3rd round is HR interview.

It is a formality round. Once you clear those tough tests then they don't reject you in interview.

I hope this will help you.
