ABSTRACT

The study entitled Market Potential of Micronutrient fertilizer mixture Mingle of Agrisearch (I) Pvt Ltd. A Micro Level Study of Nashik district was undertaken to analyse the market potential of Micronutrient fertilizer mixture Mingle, to assess the perception and preferences of farmers towards this product. Relevant Secondary data was collected from Agrisearch (I) Pvt Ltd website, Indian fertilizer industry website; a field survey was done covering 10 dealers and 30 farmers. The statistical tools Average, Percentage were used to analyse the surveyed data.

The analysis revealed that the market potential of Market Potential of Micronutrient fertilizer mixture Mingle of Agrisearch (I) Pvt Ltd. Is comparatively high, the main reason behind is the lack of awareness of the product or brand awareness and the advantages of the products over other similar products. The consumers opined that their preference for the product is mainly due to the convenience in use of the product. However, there is ample scope for capturing the market for this product if efforts are made by the proper application of marketing strategies by the manufactures.
