Intensive Nursing Practicum/ Nursing Leadership and Management


This course deals with actual application of the theories, principles and concepts of clinical nursing practice to groups of clients in varied settings to refine nursing skills in the different basic nursing service including hospitals. Emphasis is placed on integrating the multiple roles of professional nursing as a vehicle to enhance critical thinking and communication skills.

This course also deals with the application of the concepts, principles, theories and methods of developing nursing leaders and managers in the hospital setting. It also includes ethicomoral/legal aspects of health care and nursing practice and the nurses responsibilities for personal and professional growth.

Working with the administration and other hospital services


Coordinates ward activities in the administration of nursing activities in the administration of nursing service with other hospital services. Directs and supervises activities of non-professional workers in the ward. Interprets hospital policies to staff, patients, and their families and students Represent her ward in the nursing service meetings and other hospital meetings

Objective: This activity aims formulate management plans that can be implemented within our dates of exposure until our last day of RLE exposure. We wish to create feasible projects and/or programs that can enhance the provision of quality patient care and related activities for the ward and nursing service if possible.
