Kajian tindakan ini bertujuan untuk menentukan sejauh manakah penggunaan kaedah melukis dapat meningkatkan tumpuan murid

dalam mata pelajaran Kajian Tempatan. Kumpulan kajian ini melibatkan murid Tahun 4X di sebuah sekolah di Petaling Jaya, Selangor. Instrumen kajian terdiri daripada borang pemerhatian, soal selidik dan catatan jurnal. Hasil dapatan menunjukkan murid lebih memberi tumpuan dalam proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran dengan penggunaan kerana kaedah melukis.

The purpose of this action research is to determine the extent of drawing method effectiveness in improving student attention in the subject of Kajian Tempatan [Social Study]. The Year 4X students of a school in Petaling Jaya were selected as the target group for this action research. The instruments used for this action research are observation, questionnaire and journal writing. The finding of this action research shows that students are able to give more attention during their teaching and learning activity because of the drawing method approach.
