PORTABLE SIGNAL WAND

A Portable Signal Wand is highly visible switch controlled RED traffic signal wand. Its red light could be used to transmit visual codes, which is highly visible in all weather conditions with its internal light diffuser that gives the ultra bright LEDs optimal output and color. It is configured to operate as a conventional flashlight or light wand, thereby increases a persons chances of being seen from a distance while using it. The electronic circuit provides flashing modes. It is three channel, sequential dual-colour LED flasher built around two popular and inexpensive chips CD4093 and CD4017. It outputs are connected to three independent LED strings. The flashlight of LEDs is extremely durable and designed to emit light at constant intensity. Also an easy to use side mounted sealed push button switch is used to on and off the wand. After assembling and testing, the circuit along with a 9V battery is enclosed in a transparent tube. Thus, relates to handheld lights having cylindrical or rod-shaped transmitters of light used for wandlike signalling and warning. A major use of this portable signal wand is for directing traffic, such as automobile and pedestrian traffic. Often, persons directing traffic need a handheld light that can be used to signal pedestrians, passenger vehicles, and commercial vehicles to move in a desired direction. It is needed for use by traffic officials and other individuals for directional signalling of traffic, utilizing a natural swinging motion.
