AcSELerator Basic Procedure

Connecting to a Relay: Open up Acselerator. Click on "Communications" menu on top and then click on "Parameters". In the "Communications Parameters" window make sure Active Connection Type is "Serial", then click on Serial tab. Under Serial tab make sure the correct COM port is selected for the USB to Serial cable (for the SEL CP210x). Under Data Speed choose the correct baud rate for the relay you're connecting to, if you don't know exactly then just choose "Auto detect" and it will automatically find it for you. Finally click on OK and you should see the TXD & RXD squares on the bottom left of the Acselerator screen blink red and green (if the RXD blinks green, then that means you're connecting). To check to see if you are connected to the relay, look on the bottom left of the screen and you should see "Open: Connected".

Downloading Setting Files from Relay: Make sure you are connected to the relay. Click on the "File" menu on top and then click on "Read". You should see a "Transfer Status" window pop up and also the RXD square on the bottom left of the Acselerator screen should be blinking green (this means that Acselerator is talking to the relay). Once it is done reading the setting file from the relay, it will automatically open it up in a new file. Then you can save the setting file by clicking on file, then save. In the window that will pop up just give it a name and click on OK. Once you're done with the file you can close it by clicking on file, then close.

Uploading Setting Files to the Relay: Make sure you are connected to the relay. Click on "File" menu on top and then click on "Open", in the window that pops up choose the setting file that you want to send to the relay and click on OK. Once the setting file is opened click on File, then Send. In the window that pops up check the groups/classes you want to send to the relay and then click on OK. You should see a window pop up which will show you a progress bar, once the window disappears then the sending of the settings is finished.
