Housemanship Part 2: The Interview !!

1. Going to the Interview..have ur breakfast first..

When u arrive at SPA (Parcel C, Block C7) — go up straight to level 6 without

leaving ur IC at the reception counter..

If u arrive early, u can wind up first, no need to stress out, have ur breakfast
at the canteen there, just opposite the SPA building, beside Jabatan Perangkaan.
They have quite a variety of foods there (koew teow, bihun, nasi lemak, sambal
sotong, etc..)..nothing great, but ok la..

2. 'Dewan Temuduga'..

When u arrive on the 6th floor, go straight into ‘Dewan Temuduga’, u have to
register for the interview again, coz it’s first come first serve basis on the day
of the interview..

The person at the counter will check ur SPA(ST) form, ask u for ur original and 1
copy of ur IC, birth certificate, SPM cert, transcripts, Ijazah Sarjana Kedokteran
and Ijazah Profesi Dokter.

They’ll then give u ur number n tell u to go into Room K later on for the
interview session. (It’s on ur left when u enter the room, so make sure that u
don’t sit far from that room). Ur number start with the number 10--.

3. The Interview: what to do, what to expect, and what they asked me..

1. Knock on the door, go inside -- greet the interviewers. There will be 2

interviewer on that day, my interviewers were a man and a woman (with medical
background--so expect to be ask medical question) -- sit down only when u’r asked
to do so..

2. One interviewer will ask u questions in Malay, the other will ask u questions
in English. Answer in Malay/English according to what language the question was
asked, whether it was asked in Malay/English..jangan lak nak tunjuk kita terrer
English..Questions will vary (of course la, ;p), and depends or what u answered
previously..

3. Questions:

· Ceritakan sedikit tentang anda

· Bagaimana belajar di Indonesia? Senang ke?

· Siapa menteri kesihatan kita skrg? Jangan lupa cari tau ye!! -- Liow Tiong Lai

· Apakah anda tahu apa saja program2 kesihatan yang telah dijalankan oleh KKM? --
sebabkan aku tak sure (padahal mlm sblmny dah tgk website KKM, bangang la
jugak..huhuks..), aku pun jawablah pemberantasan nyamuk aedes untuk penyakit
DHF/Chikungunya..
· Chikungunya/Dengue :
1. Apakah yang dirasakan oleh pasien (symptoms)?
2. Apakah penyakit ini ada pengobatan?

· Thalassemia :
1. Apakah itu thalassemia?
2. Pengobatan?
3. Transfusi seberapa sering (frekuensi transfusi)?
4. Pencegahan?
5. Jika sudah mempunyai/belum mempunyai anak/sedang mengandung -- bagaimana
pencegahannya?
6. Apakah sudah terlambat untuk pencegahan jika sudah mempunyai anak?
7. What kind of procedure that we can do if the carrier is pregnant now?-amniotic
fluid sample for detection of the thalassemia trait

· Cervical cancer :
1. Tell me what u knw bout cervical cancer?
2. Is there any treatment fo this disease?
3. Is there any facilities for pap smear available in Malaysia?
4. Is there any vaccine for this disease now? what is the name of the vaccine? --
HPV vaccine

· Jika anda ditempatkan di Sarawak, apakah anda bersedia?

Sebenarnya dia tanya soalan dia camni -- Pernah pergi Sarawak/Sabah? Sebabkan aku
jwb Sarawak -- dia tanya pulak -- Sarawak pergi di mana saja? Pernah pergi
longhouse? then only dia tanya -- Jika anda ditempatkan di Sarawak, apakah anda
bersedia???..huhuks panjang tank soalan dia...!!!

Please take note:

Jangan cakap Bahasa Indonesia--like what i accidently did..(nak buat cemana, BM
baku jadi Indonesian language la pulak..huhuks...) -- kena la komen : "Cakap kamu
masih ada Bahasa Indonesia, tapi tak apa, pelan-pelan la no.." ;p

MAKLUMAT TAMBAHAN :

The letter from SPA will be sent to ur home, and a copy will be sent to KKM, then
u will receive a letter from KKM for the induction program, posting will only be
known then, appeal can be made during the induction program.

If u haven’t submit SPA letter to JPA for ‘lapor diri’ please send a copy of the
letter to JPA, write ‘Untuk Perhatian: Unit C’

Btw, untuk pengesahan salinan untuk MMC, jangan lupa sahkan depan & belakang --
nnt dia taknak trima--cam aku nye..huhukss !!!!
