The B2B scenario exists mostly in the export sector, especially in the Ready MadeGarments(RMG)industry.RMGhasthelionsshareoftheexportearningsinBangladesh, accounting for 75 percent of total exports. The current value of annual exports of the RMG sector is close to $4.35 billion. Also, the adherence of Bangladeshifirmstoquality,laborandenvironmentalstandards(e.g.ISO9000,QS9000)can also be shared and highlighted through the Internet technology. Following the withdrawal of the quota system and the GSP in 2005, the RMG sector will inevitably become more competitive. A.BargainingPowerofSuppliers(Low) Human resource is the main supplier in the ecommerce market. They need a website to be created by someone or buy a solution package. Therefore, in this technological age, the bargaining power of these suppliers, i.e. programmers, are very low because they can outsourcetoallaroundtheworld. The other supplier to the ecommerce market is the host who provides the space for the websitesontheInternet. 7.Conclusion
Despite being a poor country, selected segments of the Bangladeshi business community has embraced technology with reasonable success. The Facsimile in the 1980s and mobile telephones in the 1990s popularized modern technology in the mass market. Personal computers and the Internet are also emerging as daytoday business tools. These positive indicatorsarefavoringtheprospectsofecommerceinBangladesh. Bangladeshhasbeensteppingintothearenaofecommerce.Akeyreasonwhyecommerce, especially the businesstobusiness segment, is growing so quickly is its significant impact on costs associated with inventories, sales execution, procurement, intangibles like banking, and distributioncosts. Achieving these gains is therefore contingent on a numberoffactors, includingaccesstoecommercesystemsandtheneededskills.
