Las Vegas, NV 89121 Human Resources: I am applying for a K-5 teaching position in the Clark County School District. I am a recent graduate of Nevada State College, with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education, including a TESOL endorsement. I am equipped and eager to contribute to the education of the students of Clark County. My resume is enclosed for review. I consider myself highly qualified for a teaching position because of the variety of experiences I have had working with elementary students and educators. I completed my student teaching requirements in Clark County, where I built great relationships with students and colleagues. As a part of my coursework at Nevada State College, I completed over 100 hours of field experience and student observations in CCSD classrooms. I was also awarded the S.T.E.P. UP scholarship. To raise the level of professionalism in the Elementary Education field, I am a current member of The Nevada Registry. I am also a guest teacher for Clark County School District. As a former Kindergarten teacher of two years, I feel that I have a deeper understanding of early childhood. I have worked in the education field for seven years. I also demonstrate leadership skills through being a summer camp coordinator for children ages 3-12. I am interested in becoming a permanent contributor to your team. In hiring me, you will gain an individual who is organized, driven, and reliable. I always give my best effort and believe there is always something new to learn.
