Changes in Matter Grade Level Grade 4 Version

Grade level activities are a way of helping you learn to hold yourself accountable and places the responsibility for your success on you, much as is done in better paying jobs.

In these grade level lesson you are given a series of activities consisting of background information, independent mini-projects, problems to be solved and evaluation activities. With my advising as you need it, you organize your own school and home time to complete the items.

You keep a daily record of your experiments, activities and the solutions to the problems including any data you collect. Attach to your notes any related worksheet after it is marked just as you normally do. All this allows me to interpret your understanding of the ideas and allows you to keep a record of your work.

Submit each completed grade level activity to me so I or my adult designee can read your solution, evaluate it and sign this sheet.

Poor quality work or work that has to be clarified will have to be redone. A secretary would redo a poor letter. A CEO would figure out some way to change a poor decision. A car that still doesnt work would be repaired again by a good mechanic. An attorney has to produce results or risk loss of clients. Why should you be any different?

The final evaluation is based on the average of the quality of your work and the number of items completed. You will be expected to complete these activities individually. Watch your time. The days go by quickly.
