LEGAL PROVISIONS FOR THE INDUSTRY 1.THE CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT, 1986 CUSTOMER HAS THE RIGHT TO COMPLAIN AGAINST ANY DEFECT IN QUALITY OF FOOD AND SERVICE WITH SEVERE PENALITIES. 2.PREVENTION OF FOOD ADULTERATION ACT,1954 ALL HOTELS SHOULD PROVIDE UN-ADULTERATED QUALITY FOOD. ALL FOOD COOKED ON ONE DAY SHOULD BE CONSUMED AND DISPOSED THE SAME DAY.

CONCLUSION
THE HOTEL INDUSTRY SHOULD BE MORE ETHICAL AND SOCIALY RESPONSIBLE. THE LEFT OVER FOOD SHOULD BE GIVEN TO CHARITABLE INSTITUTIONS AND THE HUNGRY LIKE WHAT IS BEING DONE IN THE US. IN THE US. THERE IS POVERTY BUT NO ONE GOES TO BED HUNGRY. IN INDIA, PEOPLE ARE STILL HUNGRY AND YOU IN THE HOTEL INDUSTRY SHOULD STRIVE TO REMOVE HUNGER IN THE CITY THAT YOU OPERATE IN IN INDIA.
