Conducted observations for each assigned student teacher to enhance and encourage best practices and quality instruction.

2nd and 3rd Grade Teacher October 2002 to June 2010 Lee Elementary School, Middleville, MI Planned and integrated a variety of lessons using differentiated instruction, multiple intelligences, and student directed learning. Collaborated with colleagues and district administrators to develop a curriculum map based on current county and state standards. Implemented and integrated technology into daily lessons using current web tools. Integrated a variety of authentic assessments (e.g. student portfolios, performance tasks, anecdotal records) and standardized assessments, (e.g. SRI, MAP, MEAP) to help students relate topic content to the real world and other academic content areas.
