Get into a group of 4try to mix up the schools as best you can..in other words, Shawnee & Rosewood split up!
Take 2 minutes each to share your classroom observation sheet with your group. Listen for my cue to switch. Once everyone has shared, make a poster that represents Best Practices that have been evident in your CTs classroom! You will only have 10 minutes to make the poster! Whole Group Sharing!!!

What is it that you want your students to be able to do by the end of your unit?
ITIP Lesson 1
Use a variety of teaching/learning styles, Multiple Intelligences, best practices, special needs accommodations, integration of subjects, hands-on learning, cooperative learning, affective learning, diversity, and technology etc. These first lessons will work at the knowledge and comprehension levels of Blooms. A good rule of thumb is to make this as engaging as possible (limit the worksheets). Objectives are measureable and specific. What will the learner do? A Look at some Examples

What types of assessments would be appropriate for your students?
Introductory/Culminatin g
Creativity is KEY here!
Introductory Lesson does not have to be a full ITIP lesson, but does need to have components of an ITIP (anticipatory set, guided practice, etc)
What can you do/use to HOOK your students and to get them wanting to know more about the topic?
Culminating Lesson is usually a full ITIP, but depends on the outcomes. Will you play Jeopardy? Will they do a group project? How will you put closure to their learning? This can be done before or after assessment occurs.
