HOPE COLLEGE

DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION

March 2,2011 To Whom It May Concern: RE: Megan Freudigmann I have known Megan for the past several years as she was a student in the Hope College Teacher Education Program. I have had numerous discussions with her about teaching and the career goals she has set for herself. Her knowledge base and her goals make her an excellent candidate for an adjunct position or student teacher supervisor position. Megan works very hard, is organized and prompt with her work. I found her to be a warm and caring person who is truly student-centered in the classroom. Megan's work was creative, timely, ~nd well thought out. Her determination to make a difference in student's lives wal')evident in her work for my class and the field placement that accompanied it. Megan is the type of student who could be counted on to give 200%; she was always interested in knowing more than was taught. Since leaving Hope College she has gone to several years of successful teaching and taking on leadership roles in the district she taught in. Megan has a pleasant and friendly personality. She works well in group situations and is not afraid to encourage others. She has many creative ideas and works to share her ideas with those around her. Megan possesses the traits and ability to bean excellent adjunct professor. She will be an asset to any staff. If you have any further questions do not hesitate to contact me.
