April 11, 2011 To: Whom It May Concern From: Tim Shaw Re: Letter of Recommendation for Megan Freudigmann If you are looking for a warm, caring, articulate, passionate, engaging educator then Megan Freudigmann is the correct fit to fill that role. I have known Megan for four years and have found her to possess all of the above characteristics and more. There is not a question in my mind that Megan will be wildly successful, the only question is will the students in your school be the benefactors? For three years Megan was one of my 2nd grade teachers at Lee Elementary. At the time, I was a building principal of 450 second and third graders at Lee Elementary. First and foremost, Megan was one of the most highly requested teachers (I always think it is important to see what the parents think). She served as our grade level contact for and was a strong positive voice in the implementation of RTI (Response to Intervention). Megans inquisitive nature and desire to make a better reality for kids shone through in this effort. The ability to connect with another adult or child is a critical component to being a successful educator. Megan has the intangible quality that people intuitively trust her and she continues to build that trust daily via the manner she conducts herself. Specifically, she is warm, caring, and laughs easily. She is easy to be around and comfortable with whom she is. Lastly, I have had the opportunity to see her interact in the larger community, with adults, and with her own children and she has a remarkable consistent demeanor. Megan is passionate about helping kids through her chosen career as an educator. I have experienced this first hand with the multiple conversations I have had with her as well as many observations in her classroom. Again, it is this passion to improve and desire to make the world a better place that will make Megan an outstanding educator in any school or institution. I strongly urge you to highly consider Megan Freudigmann for educator related openings. Please feel free to contact me with any further questions at 269 320-3022 or via email at tshaw@fhps.us.
