Select an organisation which you are familiar with and have good access to.

You are required to produce a business proposal of 1,500 words, specifically looking at the communication processes of your chosen organisation. You are addressing the business proposal to the Managing Director of the company and you are writing to him explaining what the current communication systems are and convincing him how these systems can be improved and suggesting how you would implement them.

Report how the organisation communicates within a chosen business area and with different departments (P9) Describe in detail how the business could improve the way that it communicates to improve its appropriateness (P10) Once these improvements have been suggested, explain how you would implement them and how they would improve overall communications of the business. (P11)

You are also required to deliver a Power Point Presentation (in groups of two-minimum 8 slides and maximum 15 minutes), specifically looking at the Information and Knowledge Systems of the same organisation. Again, your presentation is addressed to the Managing Director of your chosen company. You are explaining to him how information is collected, formatted, stored and then disseminated in his/her organisation. Additionally you are identifying areas which could benefit from either an improvement or a new approach and suggesting how these changes could be implemented, using examples where appropriate.
