    2.0 OBJECTIVE: To lay down the procedure for the depyrogenation of lab apparatus RESPONSIBILITY: Microbiologist / Q.C. Executive. 3.0 ACCOUNTABILITY: Head- Quality control 4.0 4.1 PROCEDURE: Lab apparatus used for LAL testing or sterile material sampling should be cleaned and thoroughly rinsed with distilled water. Thereafter dried and wrapped in double aluminum foil. *Set the hot air oven at 250C , wait till the temperature reaches up to the set temperature.

    **After reaching the set temperature keep the aluminum foil wrapped apparatus inside the oven for not less than one hour.
