CSBP Limited is one of Australias major suppliers of chemicals, fertilisers and related services to the mining, industrial and agricultural sectors, and has locations in metropolitan and regional Western Australia, as well as Victoria. We are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support the Operations and other Divisions by investigation, design, construction and commissioning of equipment to meet their requirements. In addition, provide technical support for the maintenance of high voltage equipment including generators, motors, transformers, cabling and switchgear. Key objectives of this position include: Efficient plant design and most appropriate equipment selection; Preparing accurate cost and time estimates on defined engineering projects; Preparing documentation for expenditure authorisation; Ensuring financial management and reporting of project costs is completed to required standards; Plant performance criteria is met when the plant is handed over to the operating division; Ensuring engineering projects and major maintenance works are carried out using company engineering standards, and plant and equipment comply with environmental emission standards; Preparation, collation and submission of all necessary technical and maintenance information related to projects is undertaken; Responsible for accident prevention for contractors and employees on projects and ensuring plant safety is achieved; and Continuous improvement in the quality of design and project management. The successful candidate will be tertiary qualified in Electrical Engineering with significant electrical engineering design and project management experience in chemical manufacture or mineral processing. Experience in high voltage switching would be desirable however not essential.
