TITLE: GRADE:

Investor Relations Manager Sales/Exempt CEO/President

REPORTS TO:

PURPOSE OF POSITION: Under the direction of the President/CEO, responsible for the promotion of the Economic Development Corporation serving Fresno County through sales and various marketing activities.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create and implement a long-term strategy for the recruitment of new members and retention of current members; and Develop investor awareness, understanding, involvement and commitment to EDC; and Maintain, secure, upgrade and retain current investor base; and Connect investors through events and networking opportunities; and Make personal visits to discuss EDC memberships with prospective members; and Responsible for the sale of advertising space in EDC publications; and Manage prospect and member database (SBA); and Maintain the EDC online investor directory; and Responsible for all coordination efforts of the EDC Investor Relations Committee; and Responsible for presenting and reporting to the President/CEO or EDC Board on the status of the EDC investor program on a monthly basis; and

Responsible for quarterly and monthly reports to investors; and Create, update and maintain marketing materials.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & WORK HISTORY:

Graduation from a 4-year college or university with a degree in Business, Marketing or related field OR A minimum of five years experience in marketing, investor relations and/or sales
