NAZMI Thank you Syafiq. Salam, and a very good morning/evening/afternoon.

As we know, in every innovatio n that people create, there must be advantages and weakness Since our salt cell is based on the usage which is widely used in daily life, of salt solution, it proves that our salt cell is very sustainable. Other than t hat, by using our salt cell, we can save our money. This is because our salt cel l is long lasting salt solution that we use is almost free since it is easily ob tain from sea water and mountain. Next our salt cell can be used continuously by replace the salt solution that had been totally discharged or used up. Lastly o ur salt cell is also eco, friendly because the salt cell does not pollute both t he human being and the environment. In our experiment, we found that there are three weaknesses that can be improved. Firstly the container of the salt cell is quite big. But, we can solve this problem by reducing the volume of the salt solution. Referring to the expe riment we did earlier, the volume of the salt solution does not affect the volta ge produced. So, there is nothing to worry about if we reduce the volume of the solution. Secondly, our salt cell can only produce a low voltage. But, we can ov ercome this problem by increasing the number of the pods in the salt cell. Lastly, our salt cell can only be used efficiently in the first hours. B ut we can solve this problem by lengthening the length of the electrode and make it in a spiral shape to fit the container. Thats all from our team today.Thank you!!!

SYAFIQ Thank you Dhiyaudin A pleasant day I bid to everyone present. Allows me to continue with our presentation by focusing on our Prototype Design. Firstly, we have the plastic casing which containers 4 pods and a lid. W e choose plastics over materials like glass because plastic is more durable and does not brake early. It also does not conduct electricity to the surroundings. There was our safety precautions.

Secondly, do you know why we use 4 pods in our prototype? This is becaus e 1 pod of salt cell can produce only 1.3 volt to 1.4 volt of potential differen ce almost a similar to 3A battery which produces ___________ volt compare than t o a 4 pod salt cell which can produce up to 5.0 volt to 5.2 volt. The higher the number of pods, the higher the reading of potential difference. Next, the height of our casing is 10 cm to fit in 1500ml salt resolution in each pod. Our experiment shows that the volume of salt solution does not aff ect the reading of potential difference from beginning till the end. Lastly, the most important component in our prototype is the electrode. We use magnesium and copper electrode with a length of 6 cm each. This is to inc reasing the reading difference. 8 holes are drilled into the lid and we alternat e the placement of magnesium and copper electrode making some that each pod cont ains both type of electrode. From this experiment, the result shows that the higher the number of magnesium e lectrode, the higher the reading of potential difference. Thats all about prototype design. I now invite my friend Nazmi to continu e our presentationThank you for your intention!!!

DHIYAUDIN Greetings and a pleasant day I bid to judges, fellows competitors and everyone w ho present here today. Before I go any further, let me introduce my team. I am _ ____________________________, this is ______________________ and lastly is _____ ______________________. Today, we are going to present our invention, THE SALT CELL and an alternative t o replace the dry cell. The dry cell is widely used now days, but many people ar e not always thought about the dry cell contain harmful substance that can endan ger humans and the environment. Other source of energy like the hydroelectric da mn and fossil fuel also pollutes the environment. So, we stand here to introduce an innovative source of energy that is the salt c ell. This salt cell uses tow important parts, which are the electrode and electr olyte. Firstly about the electrode, we use magnesium and copper as two different materi als. Why do we use this metal? It is because, based on our information and exper iment that we had carried out, these metals produce the highest potential differ ent. Next, we choose salt as an electrolyte, because the source can easily be ob tained from sea water or prepared early at home. So, it proves that the salt cell do not only benefits humans when using electrical appliances, but also help o reduce environmental pollution. As a conclusion, the basic concept of the salt cell can be updated from

time to time by carry out further experiment to make it marketable and to fulfil led the peoples needs. This salt cell is a source of future energy which is clean , sustainable an environment friendly, in line with the GO GREEN PROGRAMME. Next, Id like to invite my teammate, Syafiq to continue our presentationThan k you!!!
