Patterns of Functioning Health Perception and Management Pattern

Before Hospitalization Patient is dependent on health perception to his parents

During Hospitalization Patient is still dependent on parents health perception and takes drugs/ treatment ordered by the doctor There is no change in metabolic pattern unless temperature increase due to fever The patient receives IVF D5NM 1 L

Interpretation Patient has no change in health perception and is obedient with the doctors and nurses. The patient eats healthy foods and drinks plenty of water, upon assessing the patient is currently receiving IVF D5NM 1 L

Nutritional and Metabolic Pattern

Patient drink 8-9 small cups of water a day Patient chews/ sips meat but spits out afterwards. Patient prefers vegetables especially carrots

Elimination Pattern

The patient defecate regularly (1 times a day) and feels no pain. The patients stool is normal and brownish in color. The patient knows when he needs to urinate and ask his father to accompany him but still doesnt know when to say he needs to defacate.
